Please re-download it. Thanks,

This is a Flash audio player originally for Wordpress that i ported over for use with Joomla! and a8e.

Preventing double click on Flash in IE
If you are experiencing having to click twice to play an mp3 in IE, then install this mambot: bot_gznoclicktoactivate_1_01.zip. It is by Gerozahn.de
Be sure to place gzNoClickToActivate at the lower end of the mambot list as it has to modify any applet/object embeddings, both hand-coded or script-generated.

Firefox 3.0.1
Hi
I am using it on the very latest FF 3.0.1 and it is working fine.(Clients Site)
Could this somehow be changed to have it autoplay when Page or Site is loading- kind of Background Music?
Any Ideas Welcome.
the player does not work
the player does not work with FF 3.0.1 for me
player does not work in Firefox 3
Hi,
I had a same problem, try to completely disable firebug it worked for me.
Player only works on home page
I'm redesigning a client's web site using Joomla 1.0.15, and I'm utilizing your plugin to play MP3s. On the home page the plugin/player works perfectly fine, but on a subpage (http://sandbox.theweboasis.com/freedom/index.php?option=com_content&task...) it doesn't work at all... It just sits there endlessly "buffering" but doesn't actually play.
I've read and followed all instructions in your documentation and I'm stumped. Any ideas?
I've checked and that's not
I've checked and that's not my extension you are using. Someone else is using the same player for their own extension (probably called WPplayer or something). However, perhaps if you remove the forward slash (/) at the beginning of the file path to your mp3 file, it may work though i can't be sure.
Firefox 3 :( not work
Hello Duvien, your plugin is AWESOME, it fit on my site needs PER FEC TLY!
I'm an tireless diffuser of FIREFOX, but when I migrated to FF3 the Download Day, I'd encountered that OnePixel didn't worked :(
Any hack or something for enable it for FF3?
It appears to be "disabled" and Firebug shows it in light gray but stills in the code.
I hope you can fix and release a FF3 version.
Thanks in advance, keep spreading the sexiest browser!
Regards,
Bacardo.
I'm also using Firefox 3 and

1onepixel for productbook component
Hi Duvien,
What a simply great plug in...i love it!
however, is it only working for frontpage only ?
coz, it is work on the frontpage, but not work for other component, such as productbook http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/li...
can you please help me to solve this problem?
coz i love both and wanna combine it.
Thanks!
it only works in Joomla
it only works in Joomla default content items. This is the limitations of Joomla as each extensions are treated as separate sub-system so they do not know that each other exist within Joomla. You will need to write a plugin for productbook to combine them. Or hack productbook to detect 1pixelout player.
hi
hi I'm kind of new in joomla, the thing is that i downloaded your plugin but it saids that i need to edit my content ... can you explain me how to do that please?
I'll appreciate the help THANKS!!
minimalistic skin
Wonderful player!
and it will be more wonderful (for me) with a minimalistic skin - just gray square with "play" "stop" "pause" icons inside.
What do you think about it, as an option?

multiple links play at same time
Hi there, I just want to say I love this plugin, it's perfect for musicians. I have multiple mp3s on one page, when one file is being played and another is clicked, the new file is then played and the previous file played closes. But after a week of it installed now it's able to play as many as I want at the same time, and doesn't work hardly in Mozilla Firefox, Any ideas?

Loop feature not working
Hello,
Your plugin is awesome and is saving me a ton of work, however i'm having one problem i'm hoping you can help me with. I've set the auto loop feature to on in the mambot but my audio files are still not looping.
You can see an example here http://www.prophotomusic.com/index.php/Happy-Moments-Loop-Music.html
Please advise.
Thank You,
Cris Mitchell
I'm afraid auto loop only
I'm afraid auto loop only works for the latest version 1.5.1 and is only available for Joomla 1.5.x
This version does have auto loop feature but i recommend not to use it as it loops all the player on one page, simultaneously.
However, The repeat play works fine if that is what you were referring to?
Super player! Is it

Nice Player, but I can only use it in content shown on the frontpage.
When I try to use it in content not shown on frontpage, the player isn't there.

I cant get the plugin 1pixeloutplayer to work in a HTML-module? Isnt that possible?
Yes, it should work. See
Yes, it should work. See image below:
Like in the image make sure it is set to 'On' in your module.
Please double check that
Please double check that there is no typo error on adding the the player on pages other than frontpage. If it works in content items, it should work in any whether it be frontpage content or not.
thanks,
There is no typo error cause
There is no typo error cause of copy and paste.
both the same, but in frontpage content the mambot works, in other doesn't work (Joomla 1.0.15).
greets
check how you are linking to
check how you are linking to your mp3 (ie, directory path). There should not be any leading slash like {audio}/dir_path/my_file.mp3{/audio}
It should be: {audio}dir_path/my_file.mp3{/audio}
Also, if you are using a text editor try disabling it and add in the tag for 1pixelout player.
There is no leading slash
There is no leading slash cause I can read your instructions ;-)
I tried it with disabling the WYSIWYG Editor, but the same result, your Player is shown in content on Frontpage and not shown in other content.
Here on a German download site, the User beppi describes the same problem at joomlaos.de
Sorry, I can't really help
Sorry, I can't really help as i cannot reproduce the same error. Have you tried it on a fresh install? If it works on a fresh install, there maybe problems with your template though i can't be sure?
No change after a fresh
No change after a fresh installation.
Its a pity, seems to be a nice tool, but for me not usefull with this undefined problem :(
Thanks for trying to help.
Some external URL not working....
First , thank you for the plugin !!!! I Love it !
I have a problem with some url that contains dots...
Like this one
I have a component in Joomla where those URL works fine Here (it's #2 track)
I tried DewPlayer, and those URL were working on it... but I would like to use only your player...
Do you have any idea of the problem ??? Is it due to dots ?
Thanks for your help !
If some of the URL don't
If some of the URL don't work then this could be player.swf file that doesn't like those URLs. There isn't a lot i can do as i do not have Adobe Flash and the original Flash source file.
It might be the special characters (ie, @) it doesn't like and not the dots.
Joomla 1.5
Will we see this for Joomla 1.5.1 any time soon? I've been trying to get it to work but with no luck.
For Joomla 1.5, see:
For Joomla 1.5, see: http://www.duvien.com/1-pixelout-audio-player-15-released-joomla-15
thanks,
Keep getting error on install
Call to a member function getTagName() on a non-object in /home/xx/public_html/xx/administrator/components/com_installer/installer.class.php on line 167
Any ideas?
Sorry there was a file
Sorry there was a file corruption in the zip file. It should be fixed now. Please re-download and try again.
thanks,
1 PixelOut
I could not get it to work on a direct link to internal folder, but if you use the entire url )http://yoursite.com/folder/nameoffile.mp3) it works beautifully!!
Nice easy work. Thanks!!
If you want to directly link
If you want to directly link to a file in an internal folder - Don't add a forward slash in front of your folder name, i.e. {audio}folder_name/my_mp3-file.mp3{/audio}
You'll be please to hear
You'll be please to hear that there should be a version for Joomla! 1.5.x tomorrow :)
Many thanks and credits to L. Schneider for porting it over to J!1.5, otherwise it may not have happened. ;)
I just need some time to tidy things up and make it run natively on J!1.5 and legacy mode.
can't install mambot
hey, i'm really excited about the 1pixelout player, but when i try to install it as mambot i just get a blank screen, no error message. Then, of course, it isn't listed in the mambots so I can't publish it. Don't know what could be going wrong. Can I manually install this, and if so, can you tell me how?
Sorry didn't realise file
Sorry didn't realise file got corrupt. Please try again.
Having a bit of trouble
We've used the audio player with great success with several files on our site, but we are trying to launch an audio testimonial site, and for some reason it's not working with the files that we're trying to use. I've converted several WAV files to MP3s sampled at 11,025Hz using Audacity, and the files play back just fine, but when I try to use the tool to open the files, it doesn't work.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Matt
I'm not sure about Audacity
I'm not sure about Audacity as i have not used it. I usually convert my files to MP3 using iTunes and that seems to do the job just fine.
Works perfect, but....
I've installed mambot and it works perfect.
But if error_reporting on the server is enabled then certain notices are shown.
Please change the line 79 from:
79: $options["soundFile"] = $source;
to:
79: $options = array();$options["soundFile"] = '';
Also, change the lines 83,85,87 from blank to:
83: $bg = '';
...
85: $leftbg = '';
...
87: $lefticon = '';
Thanks Den, i've added the minor fixes

integrating the onepixelout-player into virtuemart product pages
Dear Duvien,
I love the onepixelout-player!
I am using it on content pages, but now I would like to also use the player in the context of a product description in virtuemart.
Another option would be that integrate the player into virtuemart templates. But I do not know how to do this.
Best wishes, Mia (from Berlin)
Hi Mia, i'm afraid that will
Hi Mia, i'm afraid that will require a hack to Virtuemart so you can hook in any mambots that was render for com_content. Two files that needs changing are:
shop.browse.php and shop.product_details.php found in /admin/component/com_virtuemart/html/.
Once this hack is applied you can basically load any mambots (plugin) into your product description.
If you are using Virtuemart 1.0.13a then download the hack from my other blog post
thanks,
1.5?
Hello,
would you know of a hack working with 1.5? I'm running virtuemart 1.1.12 stable.
Thanks a lot.
There's no need for a hack
There's no need for a hack in VM 1.1.x version. You can set it to allow modules to be loaded in VM content in the VM config screen.
Auto Play on multiple pages
any idea how to have it start playing and when users navigate to another page, it picks off where it left off?
