I have recently been playing around with a CSS framework called Blueprint 0.7.1. This framework was built around using a grid system and typography. Part of the experiment was to use my site to test it out. So far, it has been quite good as well as disappointing. It was supposed to ease the CSS development but when you add all the CSS files together there where more work to be done than to cut down on development time. So i decided to use only partial of the CSS in the files.

The result is quite remarkable especially with the grid and aligning every column in order. More of this will be explained after i get my new site up and running. There isn't a lot of changes to the new site but the column layout is definitely noticeable and cleaner.

Anyway, tonight the site will be offline while i sort it out. It'll take a bit of time since i'll have to reshuffle some of the regions for the sidebar and blocks, and resize some of the images which are now too large for the new design.

Not sure what time the site will be offline at since i am still working on the re-design site. I guess possibly around early evening.
