This is the new version of 1pixelout audio flash player (version 2) for Joomla 1.5. Most of the code has been re-written to support Joomla 1.5 latest version, including the new upcoming Joomla 1.6
What has been included in this new release (1pxielout audio player 2.0):
Compatible with Joomla 1.5 and 1.6
Play more than one song with next/prev buttons
Resizable flash player width
Show remaining time (instead of lapsed time)
Customise Artist and/or Title information displayed for every song (ie override the idtag to insert your own)
Can play mp3 file from an external url
Added volume control
Translation for different languages (en/it/fr/de/es)
That's right, we finally have a new update of 1pixelout player for Joomla and this one works on J1.5 and 1.6 version. I know some changes in the new Joomla has rendered this plugin somewhat unusable but these have been fixed in this new version.
What's more, it's been quite a significant update (added volume control and width size is changeable too) so maybe it will get it's own one page website? we'll see...
I have to say, a big thanks to Marco Del Percio who decided to rewrite most part of the outdated scripts and have add swfobject js to make it more standard compliant.
From the article i wrote about getting uploadprogress extension working on MAMP 1.9. Someone left a comment asking how to get uploadprogress php extension working under MAMP 1.9 with PHP 5.3.
So i decided to recompile it and this one seems to work, at least it is now showing up in the phpinfo page for PHP 5.3
INSTALL:
Unzip the file and place uploadprogress.so file into directory: /MAMP/bin/php5.3/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20090626/
Open up file in text editor: /MAMP/config/php5.3/php.ini
and add this line below:
extension=uploadprogress.so
to php.ini file where it shows the other extensions (around line 530 - 540)
At this stage initial, i haven't been able to test uploadprogress since Imagefield running Drupal 6.17 does not seem to work on PHP 5.3 (though i could be wrong?).
